Contact details when you phone, WhatsApp or email us, so that we can respond and manage appointments. Clinical records, photographs, x-rays and 3D scans, because we cannot diagnose or treat without them. Payment and medical aid details, to administer accounts and help you apply for authorisation.
We collect nothing we do not need, and we do not sell or share your information for marketing.
The clinical team treating you. Your referring dentist, where you were referred, as part of joined-up care. Your medical aid, only for authorisation and claims you ask us to process. Service providers who help run the practice, under confidentiality obligations. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
Clinical records are retained as required by the HPCSA and applicable health law, and securely destroyed thereafter.
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (inforeg.org.za). To request access to records under PAIA, contact the practice in writing and we will provide the prescribed forms and assistance.
